    Mine was an 8 or 9 and it was just sitting there raisng hell. Hope to never have to go thru it again

    Had a 12MM that had to be internal laser. The 5mm was a pain for about 6 weeks. Bad news for sure. I know you know.

    My brother has had a few of these, (knock on wood, I haven't). A doctor friend of mine told me the best way to pass one, was to get a can of asparagus, put it into blender, and puree it. Then chug 5 Coca Colas, as fast as you can. (Wouldn't recommend this for a diabetic, though.) He claimed you would pass the stone within 15 minutes.

    I just had to google.

    What foods cause kidney stones? Avoid stone-forming foods: Beets, chocolate, spinach, rhubarb, tea, and most nuts are rich in oxalate, and colas are rich in phosphate, both of which can contribute to kidney stones.
