Have had over two dozen since the late 80’s. It is a club you don’t want to join....ever.
Had a 12MM that had to be internal laser. The 5mm was a pain for about 6 weeks. Bad news for sure. I know you know.
I know your pain, my last was 1.0cm x 1.6cm and for you non metric folks out there
10mm x 16mm , I hate them!
When it's gone you will feel like a new man , this too shall pass
My last kidney stone episode triggered a stroke.
My brother has had a few of these, (knock on wood, I haven't). A doctor friend of mine told me the best way to pass one, was to get a can of asparagus, put it into blender, and puree it. Then chug 5 Coca Colas, as fast as you can. (Wouldn't recommend this for a diabetic, though.) He claimed you would pass the stone within 15 minutes.
and just when do these feels start?
Are you saying you passed that?!?!
I just had to google.
What foods cause kidney stones? Avoid stone-forming foods: Beets, chocolate, spinach, rhubarb, tea, and most nuts are rich in oxalate, and colas are rich in phosphate, both of which can contribute to kidney stones.
I'm good (I hope).
You starting a collection??
