what TYPE pipe is this? i thought it was a type of conduit?
wonder if i could use this safely? trying to avoid wood if possible
due to weight and the removable requirement

Most likely it’s galvanized. You can get it anywhere they sell pipe.

should be able to build my trailer using the pipes i showed you.
should be easy to handle and remove being a 2 boat rack.
a lot of possibilities going this route. get the fittings all spot welded. should be easy for two to remove it.
Most of the gear, paddles, vests, etc... fits into the storage areas of the Jackson Kayaks. The rest, coolers, etc... get thrown into the back of the truck for the drive to where ever we're going.
I've thought about adding some type of storage box, but haven't gotten around to it...
