Love, love, love the new Vibe. Super stable. I didn’t try to stand on the perch yet, just because I didn’t feel like getting wet. I feel pretty confident I’ll be able to say and up there. I set the hook and fought a little bass, while standing on the deck. Felt extremely comfortable.
Fish finder....check
Has been slow and disappointing since I got back. Areas that I could count on catching some early morning fish this time last summer are not producing. Trout have been scarce even though they are what I would normally be catching more than anything else. Reds have been nearly as hard to find. More Snook around than anything right now. Red is a 26” caught on a topwater plug this morning. Snook is from last week, also topwater. Hooked and lost two nice Snook yesterday which would have gone 36-42” each. Both blew-up on my topwater plug, danced around like Tarpon on the top and threw the lures while shaking their heads.
Crippen how did you run your wires for the fish finder, looks like all the wires and battery is inside the pod.
