Jeep Wrangler gear swap

I just discussed this with a buddy of mine and it seems the price for this can be substantial. I remember back in the day when it was $400/axle, but that was gears and labor only.

What axles do you have? Depending on the axle and your current gear ratio, the carrier may need to be swapped as well. My buddy was quoted $1,600-1,800 to do the front and rear of a Wrangler recently.

Cost me around $2000 years ago at Southern off-road specialists in Alpharetta. New gears front and rear and added a truetrac in the rear.

Just factory axles. No lockers. 3.21 ratio currently. Running 34's, and will be going to 35's when these RG's are done for

I have 35s on mine going with 488
If you plan on ever going to 37s go to 528

is your an auto or manual? A programer can fix lots
