It's the Freakin' Weekend! Watcha Sippin' On!

How is that compared with Bushmill's or Jameson's? Price and quality wise.

Red Breast is made by the same distillery that makes Jameson's. It is a higher grade, triple distilled, whisky. Red Breast is not nearly as peaty as Bushmill's, and therefore has less of an iodine or creosote taste. Try it and you will find it to your liking.

I drank ALL the Scotch in the 90s. Started with Cutty and moved up to Dewar's and then Chivas. Then Black Label and Glen Livet. The problem was that you can't go back to the Cutty or J&B. Once you've had the $50.00 a fifth good Scotch you just can't take what used to be perfectly good whiskey. I'm telling you from experience,Scotch is a slippery slope.

But if you can find it there is a brand called Speyburn. It's a 10 year old single malt that is VERY good at a reasonable price.

Ahh yes, Speyburn, the smoothest kerosene you'll ever drink.
