This is an lwrc bolt carrier group.
If you want your sig 516 to run the way it was supposed to, this is your ticket.
Sig was sued by lwrc for their 516 piston rifle design, it was more or less an exact copy of lwrc's patented piston design. As a result of the lawsuit, some material was milled out of the sig bolt carrier groups. This is the original article, factory nickel - boron coated.
Also included is a heavy buffer and enhanced power buffer spring to accommodate the added mass of the unmilled bolt carrier.
Just to be clear, this part will not make your sig 516 full auto, the sear does that not the bolt carrier group. This part as far as I know is specific to the lwrc platform and the sig Sauer platform, therefore it will not work with standard gas operated AR-15 uppers, sorry, had to say that!
I have moved out of state, and came across this in a box.
I do not have a sig 516 anymore due to NY actively restricting the types of firearms we can own up here.
