Item Description: Let’s call this one of kind. Because it is. The only fulled engraved HKP7M13 I have ever seen. According to Rick Eaton, the engraver, that’s because the steel in these guns is super hard and wears out engraving tools fast.
The gun was engraved over 25 years ago by a young part-time engraver at the request of a police chief and former Special Forces officer. The engraver has since become one of the top 25 knife makers and engravers in the world. His knives regularly sell for thousands...his most expensive knife sold to an Arab sheik for almost $100k. This is the only gun he ever fully engraved.
I know the gun is worth around $3.5k. I have no idea what it would bring at auction with engraving and coating.
I met Rick for breakfast in Billings, MT years ago and asked him what he would charge then to do the engraving. $4k-$5k was his answer. ( after first saying he would say no - too hard to do).
I’ll be picky on trades and will consider those with cash first.
If you don’t like it, think it’s blingy, etc please move on.
Comes just like you see it in bag with an extra magazine.
Thanks for looking. Just thought I would throw it out here for a little while before sending to auction house.
I am going to post a few more items. Raising cash for another hobby buy.
Don’t need help selling and if other stuff sells first it goes back in safe.
Collectors, you won’t find another one of these anywhere.
