Item Description: All original numbers matching Colt New Line 22 pocket revolver or known as gamblers gun and prostitute gun. Gamblers and prostitutes would carry these in the Old West for protection. Colt wood presentation box, 1800s UMC .22 short two piece cartridge box, and original document from the Colt factory dated 1876 sent to dealers announcing a reduction in price for remaining pistols. This was Colt discontinuing the model. The pistol is an early first model with a 4 digit serial number beginning with 5. Mfg. In 1873-1874. It is in very good condition and does function. The hand spring is no good but Numerich has them in stock for $8. You can turn the cylinder manually without the spring. I doubt the box is original to the pistol but it is an authentic antique Colt made wood box. The cartridge box is in good shape and original. Price is $700. Must meet close to Carrollton
