I’ve been preparing to order a press for a full year. I am so pumped to finally pull the trigger on the purchase!!

Very nice! I’m going to try mine without the strong mount to start and see how it sets up.

You won’t regret buying a 550C - I have three and only one is mounted on the strong mount. All three work great with or without the strong mount.

I'm really excited to get it setup and start learning on it. I ordered a set of Lee Carbide 9mm dies (the 4 piece set) and I'll have to work with those until my Dillon .40 set shows up (thinking August).

A 2x8 on top of three 2x6’s worked for me. It is rock solid. Flush fit the bolts to the 2x8 first.

Don’t get Dillon’s mount, get Inline Fabrications mount for sure!!! One day I may step up, but the Dillon 550 loads plenty for my needs. I would like more spaces on the tool head now I’ve been reloading a lot more. I’ve learned a lot and the less times you touch a piece of brass through the process, the better!! Take your time and have fun!!!

Thanks for the heads up post on powder at Midsouth , it finally arrived!!! I was thin on 1680 for .300bo, not anymore!!
