No state laws against them in most places,
and all weapons (not just guns and knives) are under the preemption law.
OCGA 16-11-173 says no city or county can regulate them in any manner.

I think knucks hurt your fingers as much as they hurt the punchee. Then you are limited in the fight. Lesson learned in the 7th grade(No metal knucks involved). Schoolyard fight. I carry regular brass knuckles sometimes and always have them in my vehicle. I am not aware of anything in the Georgia code that prohibits you from carrying them (or a real meat tenderizer for that matter) or brings them under the requirement to have a Georgia weapons license to carry them. But I can’t say I have studied this issue in depth.
