You should hit up the cake decorating section and buy some frosting to put in it too. Dang.

It doesn't make it sweeter, just moist. Add jalapenos and onions from time to time, but the girl friend won't eat it w peppers in it.

I love adding diced pickled jalapenos to grits or eggs....or both! LOL! I'll try adding some to corn bread.

Chitlins yes. I brokered Chelsea Milling Products (makers of Jiffy) in the 90's. That stuff is pure sugar. No self respecting Southrener bakes conebread anyhow. We fry it in bacon grease.
