Hi all,

My family owns a large plot of land on the Ocmulgee River, and we are trying to figure out some different food plots to plant that would be edible for deer most of the year. One that a game warden told us about was Imperial Whitetail Clover. Does anyone have any experience with this? My father in law also mentioned Biologic as something to try. Does anyone know about this?

Just some background - the property is surrounded on the west and north sides by about 5,000 acres of cotton fields, and on the south by about 2,000 acres of soybeans. The eastern property line is the Ocmulgee. Our property is hardwood and planted pine mixed and we have food plots with rye and other grasses as well as 5 or 6 corn feeders. In January we will be planting some pecan trees, but obviously it will be five years before those are nut-bearing. We are trying to get more deer to live on the property with the ultimate goal being bigger deer and bigger antlers.

Thanks ODT!
