He moved from downtown out the burbs. His condo was right near the shooting last summer that got caught on video with the rapper in the white Bentley. After that shooting he and his wife decided to move asap.

IMO, he needs to move a little farther out.

I visited my brother in suburban Chicago a few years ago and he wanted to take me to an indoor range to shoot his pistols. They would not let me in the range because I did not have an FOID. I explained I was from out of state visiting and he said too bad! I left IL 39 years ago and I don't miss it at all!

A couple weeks ago I was at DSA Arms in Barrington Illinois, FAL builders, they had a decent selection and the prices were not bad given today's climate. No DD they had a Colt that was under $1200 new, also had a few AKs, and ARs at decent prices. I think the reason guns are more available is due to all the requirements the state has on ownership. You can't walk into a store buy a gun and walk out with the gun even if you have all the required credentials. You can't even hold a gun if you don't have a FOID card.
