I need someone who can tig weld

I have a hand gun with a crack in the slide, I am looking for someone who can repair this with a tig welder.

It exceeded it's design limitations once. Unless it is irreplaceable, pitch it.

While I agree, if properly joined, the new weld could be the strongest part of the gun, I think you're getting sound advice from your ODT brethren. I've been joining metal off all types for a few years now and I wouldn't want the liability.Obviously a low pressure caliber is gonna increase your chances of a successful repair but what is an eyeball worth? Best of luck.

Welding this would only be as strong if you ground it all out till it was open root and welded from both sides. To do this right, it’ll cost more than a new slide. I wouldn’t take the liability of it
