I believe I found my nightly limit with my Lee hand press. I sized 650 pieces of .38 Special brass with it after dinner tonight. Tomorrow I’ll bell and decap. Wednesday night I’ll prime them.

I normally do, but committed my self to having 650 ready to load by Saturday morning, then I remembered that Thursday and Friday are my late nights at work.

Man I fully loaded 100 rounds on the rock chucker by RCBS and my shoulder is sore as all get out today. 650? nope.

I tried to use one of these years ago to do some barracks reloading. The handle flexed on .223 and I could never get them properly sized. Just doing 100 was a workout.

Rifle rounds are usually alot tougher to size and all than pistol cases.
There is a big diff in doing 9mm or .45acp than trying to size .223 or 30-30 cases . They usually thicker case walls & longer brass - you can really tell with a hand loader like that.

The hand press is perfect for my use. I live a one bedroom high rise with limited space. I use it prep brass after dinner while watching TV with my girlfriend, then go a friend’s on Saturday to drop powder and seat projectiles on his Rockchucker.
