I call them Preppers Peppers

I smoked three racks of ribs yesterday and the wife cooked our poppers in the oven.
We also stuff 'em with Pimento cheese sometimes and top with pepperoni.
Gotta try that pepper jelly finish.
Adding that and tossing them in at 425 for about 15 minutes adds the perfect sweet, caramelized glaze. It's practically dessert.
 
Bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers. Cream cheese with bacon bits and dry rub wrapped in bacon. Smoked for 4 hours low and finished with a pepper jelly in the oven. Sweet and savory with a little kick.
Get the **** outa here! So many good things combined into one awesome thing! Damn my cholesterol numbers!
