Hunting cabin resto.

That's commitment to outdoor projects!!
WOW, Kuddos to you!!

Thanks man.
I’m camping in the one in the pics as we speak with my hunting buddy.
We’re gonna try to pop a yotee tonight.
we had one howling at us last weekend up here but I’m thinking it winded us and was letting us know we were busted.
Anyways I spent much of the day today using reclaimed knotty pine to build some shelves attached to the loft bunk.
Having a shizzle ton of fun on this cabin.
Can’t wait to get them all done up the way I want.
The cool thing about it is that I’m kinda shooting from the hip trying new things and just putting them together, getting advice from my wife and my hunting buddy “chief” as I go.
Very rewarding any way you look at it.
Me and chief put our heads together and figured I should mount a crap ton of solar panels on the pavillion roof next to the little cabin here and mount the battery bank under cover in the rafters of the pavilion.
It’s right next to the cabin with plenty of sunlight.
I’m liking this plan.
Will definitely keep posting pics as this progresses.
I really need to have an ODT “hunter” party here once I get this place suitable with amenities.
By the way....this property borders the national forest so we can definitely take advantage of this set up.

Got the little shelving unit done to the left of ladder and got the bunk floor on.
Checked my cam up the hill and caught these bears from the last few weeks.

So I got creative and wanted to save space and have some hidden shelves in the wall so I built a swing down table with shelves behind.
There’s a ledge along the back wall under window to stop the table top level and i gotta get hinges to build a swing out gusset (triangular shaped) that will swing flat against wall when not in use.
It will have a push latch to lock the swing arm to the table top when in use.
The vertical board is just a temporary prop.
