I'll try to go, if the weather is good. I e-mailed Greg, the range officer for these hunting rifle matches, and he said it's OK to use a 55 grain .223 (lead / copper bullet, no steel core or jacket) on the silhouette range, even though the MUZZLE velocity exceeds 3000 feet per second. Because by the time the bullet gets to even the closest targets at 200 meters, it will be well below 3000 fps.
