How to remove spray paint?

Citrus strip. It’s safe for AR’s and such

Goo gone and some 0000 steel wool. Nylon brush helps in the hard to reach spots. Just did this yesterday.

Update: nylon brush/ terrycloth and lots of hoppes and many hours of rubbing did the trick.
Note: do not use lacquer thinner on high gloss wood stocks... ask me how I know.

Go to auto parts store and get a can of AIRCRAFT PAINT REMOVER. it is in a blue can with a picture of an airplane on it. Stores like O’Reilly‘s and AutoZone have it. Spray on and let it sit. Few mi utes later the Paint will wipe right off. Wear a good mask and use in a well ventilated area. Don’t breathe it.

Just did this again on another upper. Acetone and a M16 cleaning brush took it off without a problem. Upper looks brand new now.

Wear rubber gloves its rough on the skin but yes works well
