My financial advisor said i have enough to retire any day I choose to....for approximately 4 months
I don't have a financial advisor - I haven't been able to find one that will link his compensation to the state of my account 
. They don't seem to have enough confidence in the saying "make me rich and I'll make you rich". Wonder why?

Markets go up and down, beach house payments are forever ?
1% when they actively held and managed my accounts, now it's discounted to about 0.4% (and shrinking as my assets grow) when I took control of my accounts and use them in a purely advisory role.
But what a fun 4 months those would be!
Do it yourself and save the 1-1.5%
Dads always been my adviser for finances, along with all the other topics in life. Hasn't steered me wrong yet.
