How do you keep ants out of your tree stand?

Didn’t notice the hugified brown ants in the tree until after I had the stand set. Any suggestions to get rid of them? Pellets? Spray? Bait? Fire? Anyone have ideals on something that doesn’t have a strong enough scent to scare off deer?

4 or so ant baits (sold in grocery stores, white and come in a box) should eliminate them overnight. No real odor.
