HK and HK clone porn.

Yeah it is a preference thing I got hung up one time in a fire fight getting out of a vehicle and swore I'd never use a sling again. Longest 5 seconds of my life getting un hung.

Murphy's Law. If it can go wrong it will go wrong and at the worst possible time.
If you have ever carried a rifle/carbine with a sling attached in a vehicle.....it don't take more than a couple of gun fights to convince you what a bad idea rifles/carbines with a sling attached are. Every time I see the "What Sling Do I Need" threads I always think one you can easily jettison before you put your rifle in your vehicle.

Preach it brother. :)

I'm SOOO tempted at buying this when they're back in stock. I already have a trigger group for it. I would just need the receiver, the SD can, and Form 1 it. I about bought the suppressor last week, but decided to hold off. This ****er would run me $3-$4k to build, but it would be sweet!!!

I agree with you but slings have their place, like patrolling. I dont have any slings for my rifles but started a sling thread because I need one for a training course.

If you do, reach out to @DogLegArms he found me one and priced it for me, but I decided to hold off. I did pick up a couple other cans from him though. I need to stop buying **** and buy another house and get out of this **** show I'm renting.

Right on. Does the course require a sling for transitions or something? Just so you know if your primary fails you are probably ****ed. Make sure it doesn't fail. ;)

That's why I stated "jettison before you put your rifle in your vehicle". Some things are all but impossible without a sling, fast roping for example. Slings have many uses no doubt, but attached to a rifle inside of a vehicle you may have to exit in a hurry....never a good idea. As always, YMMV.
