High-end coolers?

I have a 35-quart Pelican and my father-in-law has the 45-quart Yeti. The capacity of the 35-quart Pelican is actually more than the 45-quart Yeti. This is probably about the closest comparison per this chart:

If someone is truly interested in this, I could probably run a similar test.

If you want to set up a test we can update it in this thread and I'll do one with mine since the Pelican 35 is closest in size to the Yeti 45.

No sir I have a 45 quart Yeti and you have the 35 quart Pelican. (I over looked the fact your in laws had a 45 quart yeti, you could really do a side by side) I was referring to we prechill them the same amount of time drop in the same amount of ice and go from there.

Somewhere up the thread is a video of a test like y'all are considering. A the Coleman extreme series holds ice as just as well or better than the heavy duty coolers, perhaps the time would be better spent figuring out which one can take more abuse; 'cause that is what you're buying. Just a suggestion...not trying to get anyone's knickers in a twist....
