While you may have some ground to debate 'ethics' (though shaky), the biological differences (and the danger/benefit to the resource) are day and night.I’ve always had the similar opinion as OP on food plots...I hunted with a group of my cousins years ago...We were poor with no tractors or equipment... I always thought the difference in a corn pile and food plot was who had the money to make a plot

On what? That some people (generally non hunters) view shooting a deer over a food source (presumably that includes naturally occurring) is unethical or the fact that placed grains and growing vegetation have zero in common?Please eloborate
