it was amazing what Hawaii accomplished in that their entire annual recruiting budget was $50,000.....not even a decent bribe for a name player. If you watch the full game ESPN commentator Pam Ward nailed it when she stated at about the 17minute mark "Bowl invitations are not based on merit". She would have been fired today
