Hard Times Tokens

Anyone have any hard times or civil war tokens? I only have a few and don't know a ton about them but I think they're pretty interesting.

If you don't know, things got rough a couple times in history so businesses would mint their own coins to do business with.

The words on this coin have a cool backstory. French wanted payment to stop messing with our merchant ships. Someone said we had "millions for defence, not one cent for tribute". The saying stuck around for a while. Awesome.

Yeah, I picked up a couple on ebay. There's a coin shop in Lawrenceville I used to go to. The old man there usually had a few in the corner of his shop. I got most of them there.
