And, yesterday was one of those rare, special days.
65 degrees, clear skies, sitting in patio chairs in the in-laws yard on the golf course.
Sipping a nice 18-year-old Scotch, enjoying a conversation while listening to the hiss of the turkey fryer cooking the guest of honor.
Then inside for dinner and to visit with some folks we hadn’t seen since last year.

Today, I’m cooking the wife and I a 12 pounder, she’s doing the sides and my annual pumpkin pie.
We need our leftovers for turkey sammiches while we watch them dawgs tomorrow.
