He got the COVID vaccine to show people it was ok and 2wks later he is dead. You all line up and get that shot though.

Yes, and other than mobility issues that had confined him to a wheelchair, was in pretty good shape physically and mentally. Then the vaccine, makes you wonder.

Saw him many times as a kid at the Fulton county stadium. Even got to see him hit a couple of home runs. Good memories.

One of my favorite memorys was seeing him hit 715 with my dad. He was a lifelong braves fan. He used to watch them in spring training in West Palm Beach when he was in the Air Force and until he passed in 2002 l always knew where he was if the Braves were on. Either in front of the t.v. or close to a radio. Say hey to daddy Hank.

I too remember watching him hit 715 with my Dad. Watched that one on TV but did get to see him a few times at the old stadium. Chief Knockahoma was still dancing. RIP Hank and say howdy to the Chief.
