So, I am not the only one noticing this?? I thought I was going crazy seeing a serious influx of NY plates in Macon. In my neighborhood, there were 4-5 houses for sale, and literally all were purchased by New Yorkers. They still have their plates on their cars in the driveway.

You should see the amount of cars in downtown Atl with those ugly ass yellow New Yawk license plates. Fools will just bring the same stupid ideas and politics here and try to screw up our state.

Get in front of the county commissioners and plead for more gun buy backs. That's the key there. Getting all those evil guns off the streets.

I would think since Illinois is broke that car tags/tax would be quite high.

I saw a map this week that Franklin county had a ordinance pending. I haven’t heard of it but hope it’s true.

They are not. Very low. In fact, Ill. state income tax was only 3% until just a few years ago. Residential property taxes were outrageous though.
