gun shoots right... which way to move the sights

okay... should be a quick answer, but for some reason, my mind is not understanding which direction I need to more my rear sight in.

So the gun shoots a bit to the right (maybe 4 inches at 60 yards)

do i shift my rear sight left or right to correct this?

Rule of thumb: Whichever way you want the bullet to move is the direction you want the sight to move.

Just remember its always opposite for the front sight.

Move the front sight in the opposite direction of your desired result. Move the rear sight in the same direction of your desired result.
