I am condemned to not eat shrimp EVER anymore, since a suddenly allergic reaction I had in 2009 that almost killed me. Nowadays, if I even touch a spoon that has touched a shrimp food, the reaction is immediately. And I used to eat shrimp food so often.

Totally different. Jambalaya is a derivation of paella. Gumbo is a roux based stew/soup.
