2 haas avocados (the little, dark green ones) or 1 Florida avocado (the bigger, lighter one)
1/2 lime (or lemon, but lime is much better)
1 large tomato
1/2 large onion
1-2 japaleno peppers, depending on taste preference
1/4 cup cilantro
garlic salt
black pepper

Cut the avocados in half, remove pit, and scoop the avocado out of the shell into a large bowl.
Mash avocado(s) with a potato masher (or with a fork if you don't have potato masher).
Squeeze the juice from the 1/2 lime into the mashed avocado.
De-seed and chop tomato in small pieces; add to avocado mix.
Chop onion into small pieces; add to avocado mix.
Remove seeds from japaleno(s) and chop into very small pieces. Add to avocado mix.
Remove stems from cilantro and chop the leaves; add to avocado mix.
Stir it all up and then add garlic salt and black pepper to your desired taste. (Start with 1/4 tsp garlic salt and a pinch of black pepper, but I usually put a good bit of seasoning in mine.)

*After mixing up the guacamole, throw the avocado pits back in to keep the dip from turning brown before you serve.

Here is my recipe....LOL
