I prefer tap water, the only time I use bottled water is when I am packing a cooler for a trip. My wife has a friend that will not drink anything but Dasani water.

Who would have ever thought back then that water would be more expensive than gas today for some people. I just can’t see paying all that money for WATER. There’s nothing wrong with tap water or putting tap water in a jug and taking it with you.

I have a 120’ well on the side of a mountain and when friends visit from the city they always say how good our water tastes.

May have been over by the 70s but at least in the 60s
you get caught in mischief neighbors would spank you,
then call parents before you get home to tell them what
you did so you got a 2nd whipping from them. Not only
for what you did but for their embarassment caused by
hearing it from a neighbor.
Now adults just call the cops since can't touch anyone's kids.
Including theirs.

My buddies grandma would slap the **** out of us cussing the whole time. I sure do miss her. She was always cool until we did something stupid which happened often. RIP Emma.

50 cents, or a Capitola Flour token, got ya in the movie with a coke, popcorn and a box of Goobers
gas was 23 cents a gallon during gas wars
filled up a 57 Chevy less than $5
