Can the US government spy on a private citizen’s land at will, without probable cause or a search warrant? Indeed, according to the government’s interpretation of the Fourth Amendment. Welcome to Open Fields.

This is something I think all land owners and hunting property owners should be aware of. Although the article only mentions Tennessee, Mississippi, Montana, New York, Oregon, and Vermont specifically, I'd be really interested to hear if anyone knows of this happening in Georgia.

Yep, I studied this doctrine in law school
and later defended cops' (Drug Task Force) use of such cameras in court.

It's shocking how the fourth amendment has been eroded and really separated from common sense and the morals and expectations of the common people.

Some attorneys call it the "one-fourth" amendment. It gets 25% of the respect it deserves.
