Got bitten by a Snake this morning.

After many days of delusion, fever, hallucinations, and much suffering. The snake finally died

I think it was a water snake. It’s been four hours. A little pain but no real swelling or discoloration. Did kind of look like a Copperhead but don’t think it was. In the water and stayed in the water.

Told to apply Alcohol.
Hope I live. The aggressive snake is ok, he swam off.

Looks like a midland water snake to me. Not venomous.

and yes I will probably wear booties for a while. I go kayaking most every Sunday morning for the last 20 years.
