As I hunt whenever I come across a plant I’m unfamiliar with I’ve been using this for a while. Challenge yourself when you go for a hike, go hunting or fishing. Heck even in your own back yard. It’s amazing what grows all around you that can keep you alive. As I sit in the woods hunting now I figured I would share this. 10 inches from me is striped wintergreen. Cherokee Indians used this for kidney stones. When the mountain house runs out you’ll need to eat something.

You know what they called the first person to try wild plants? Dead.
Before you eat it you better know exactly what it is.
