We just moved to Jasper and want to venture out to Ellijay tomorrow night for dinner. Are there any good restaurants? We've eaten at Biguns but looking for something other than BBQ in downtown Ellijay.

Didn't you hear? Ellijay is overrun with deadly bears and poisonous snakes. I lock the doors and hope for the best when I drive through town.
Atlanta hasn't spread that far north yet.
There's a great Cajun place next to the railroad tracks and an old terminal.

Large servings, but order 2 meals and you're good for a few days.
(Almost everything is even better the next day)!!!

Have you tried the smoked turkey at Biguns? I’m not usually a fan of turkey but theirs is very good!
Cajun Depot and downtown on the square is Cantaberrys which has great sandwiches and beer. River street tavern has good burgers, wings and beer. Backporch bistro is not that good. Cornerstone Cafe has a pretty good breakfast menu.
I usually get the smoked sausage at Biguns, but will have to try their turkey. If it's anything like Jim and Nick's smoked turkey, I will devour it in minutes, maybe seconds.
