Downsizing and came across about 80 old magazines from around 1966 through mid 70s. About half are American Rifleman with most of the rest being Shooting Times and Guns & Ammo. The pre 68 ones have some ads that will bring back memories to us seasoned citizens.

I too have a peck of these old mags, just can't bring myself to toss out =
1941 to 80 am rifleman -
1957? first issue of shooting times -- it was a 13x20 gazette size for the first couple years - printed on a type of news print --
lot of now defunct mags too -- gun world, gun facts, guns, gun test and american gunsmith ------
lot of forgotten info in some of the better ones ---
they used to tell you how to do it, now it is just where to buy it --

Some of the Gun World and others are mixed in. As you said, a lot of good stuff in there including P. O. Ackley. And yes; more how to do than where to buy.

I agree , they would be fun to look through & pre 1980 is before my time . I'd grab them from you but i'm buried in 2 decades of gun porn & magazines of many types , I always 'plan' on re reading so many but time just keeps flying by . GL
