Gold and silver advice

I’m looking at cashing out a little stock and buying some gold and silver. Would love some advice on where to go, I made the mistake years ago of calling a place that sells gold, and well I guess they shared my number with every gold seller in the country, can’t block em fast enough.
I’m looking at selling around $3000 and getting an ounce worth of gold and the rest in silver. Any advice would be great! PMs welcomed!

I am no financial expert, but if you look at price charts, gold has been on a slow downtrend since August.
~1950/oz AUG-SEP with a peak of 2050ish.
Sitting at 1835/oz today per JMBullion.

I just checked their site for one ounce gold.....not in stock (except Krugerands)

Kitco has most everything in stock, but their premiums on name-brand 1oz coins is near $100. Krugerands at Kitco currently carry a $50 premium over spot.
