My two daughters were in an accident today. Tire blew out on I20 at 70 and my oldest lost control. They spun around a few times and the cable guard in the center median did its job. There were no other cars involved. Not so much as a scratch on either of my girls. Responding officer was great and a kind tow truck driver dropped them off at Waffle House to wait for me to get to them, since they were in SC. I’m just praising God because this could be a completely different kind of post!

I worked the interstate years before the median cable guard system was in place. Often a vehicle that entered the median uncontrolled exited on the opposite side into oncoming traffic. The result more times than not was death.

Wow Crippen I'd just about consider that a miracle that they weren't hurt at all. The good lord was sure looking out for them for sure.
