Been a while since I've posted, but I need some help.

Recently purchased a Glock 41 MOS (used) for my LGS here in Ohio, came with 3 mags and Trijicon NS. Gun looks brand new and still has copper grease inside. Any it was $575. I think that was fair.

My issue is the MOS system. The gun didn't come with mounting plates and this is all greek to me.

If I am hunting a RDS for the slide, how do I determine compatibility, let alone what plate I would need?

This will be a range toy so thinking Vortex, Burris or Holuson.

Thanks for any insight.

Buy the complete Glock plate kit from Glock directly or one of the many aftermarket plate manufacturer ... Then pick out which optic you are going to go with... We are liking our Holosun's so far...

Depending upon what RDS you buy, there are better options than the Glock plates, like the offerings from Forward Controls Designs.

Most plates, like the ones that come with the Glock, use the screws as recoil lugs. That’s not an optimal solution.
