I really like the Gen 3 grip much better than the Gen 4 on my G19. There is just too much going on for me.

I just like the backstrap the grip is ok I've heard though that it will rub the crap out of you wearing a iwb?

I could see that. It just seems like the 4 grip knurls are a bit too aggressive for my taste. I think the 3 is just right!

yeah my buddy is leo and was wanting a different backup weapon and bought the gen 4 23 and said he wanted something lighter so i traded him my kahr 45 for it and im enjoying it just need to find me a good holster now.. what holster would yall go with on the 23?

I wear a bianchi belt holster. Holds nice and tight at about 3 O'clock. I like to wear an untucked shirt over it. Plaids are great to help break up any printing outline. I have a Blackhawk paddle holster that doesn't hold as tight. Works better with cooler temp attire.

It's not too bad. My holster has a big strip of leather covering most of the RTF grip, though.
