I want to do the same with mine, did you do it yourself? Or have it done somewhere?
I watched a YT video where a guy did it, and it eventually gave him problems. Sounds neat, I really wanna have mine done so I can lock the slide.

It's a very simple cut with a dremel/hack saw. I'm going to leave mine alone, especially after seeing the guy's pin shear off.

YMMV, but locking the slide on any of my pistol hosts never really made that much of a difference in sound to me, but perhaps my cans don't have as much back pressure, or because my reloads are quiet altogether. With CCI SV, holding my thumb over my 22/45 slide with my mask on it, doesn't really make it quieter, it's already stupid quiet.
