Garage door makes a popping noise on opening and closing

Sometimes. Not every time.

I noted rheno ly damage is this popped corner on a thing where the flange is riveted to the door panel. Would a simple bolt and nut fix this maybe? Short of course.
First pic is the popped panel. Second pic is the next good hinge above.

It's popped off, rivets and flange broke. I think the only "fix" is to drill it and use a small thing bolt and nut (with washers) to affix the plate to the aluminum molding (where it broke). Girlfriend has no idea how it was broken. She's going to call a door guy so I'm off the hook. For now

Sounds like a good plan lol.
 
The most common problem, the friggin spring, see if if’s working correctly, it will make those things go bad! Cause and effect
