Ga registered truck running in California

Hey there,

I know California has some insane emission requirements. I have a 2002 Georgia registered truck (23,000GVWR) and i have a couple of jobs in california this year. My truck does NOT comply with their current regulations for CARB compliance with the Diesel Particulate Filter. Does anyone know what is going to happen when i go thru the scales entering Cali? I am CERTAIN that i will run less than 5,000 annual miles in Cali.

vehicles going through the scales are going to be registered all over the country not just California. I would think maybe local cops would question the plates if your there a long time.

IF your hauling a trailer does not matter if it's 4x8 behind a Yugo you can not go over 50/55 on the expressway.

I would check the weight's for running on the different roads and regulations as well.
