Item Description: 1966 Ford F100, Pick Up. Custom Cab Long Bed.
This truck was purchased on June 14, 1966 at the Wilkinson Motor Company in Milledgeville, GA. It has only traveled out of Georgia a half a dozen times to North Carolina and Florida, on fishing trips but otherwise stayed local.
It has been garaged for about half of its 53 years, after repainting the body and rebuilding the engine about 51,000 miles ago. Total miles show about 137,000 and change.

Engine is the In Line 6, 300, 3 speed on the column (plus reverse).
In the last 6 years, it has undergone a class 3 restoration.

New items include:
Brakes rebuilt, new shoes, wheel cylinders, springs and new master cylinder. Alternator, Starter, Starter relay, oil pressure valve, fuel pump, fuel regulator, distributor, points, cap, condenser, spark plugs and wires, water pump, hoses, belts and New tires (5)

Runs good, has had the OEM single barrel carburetor replaced, all new fuel lines, original oil type air filter is in use. All replacement components are OEM. Rear wheels are not original, first owner put larger tires on the rear, so orig rear wheels are gone but all hubcaps are the same. Seat was re upholstered in the late 1980's. Ceiling panel and door panels have been replaced.

Truck has "possum AC", from an early 1960's Ford Falcon. It is fixable, or removable if you know AC. I have "fuel" for that system, will probably need an expansion valve replaced, condenser reinstalled or more....if one chooses to keep AC in the truck.

Truck is in very good mechanical original condition, paint is not perfect, has a few scars and blemishes here and there. Some spots have been touched up, a few small areas where you can see rust wanting to come back through. It has never been hit or wrecked, it has the original "manpower" brakes and steering intact. Looks great in picts, but do not expect a perfect condition paint job.

I pulled the gas tank (its behind the seat), and had it dipped, stripped and coated, then professionally painted, then reinstalled to have a clean fuel system. Door seals have been replaced, but the truck could use new front and back
window seals.

This would make an easy show quality restore vehicle, needs someone who likes to tinker with old vehicles, and needs to be stored under cover, but driven weekly at least.
Also comes with several parts....replacement radiator, extended side view mirrors that were used for towing many years ago, and replacement roof
teardrop lights. Also have a new fuel sending unit to drop inside the gas tank.
