Item Name: FS WW2/Vietnam Leather Flight Jackets
Location: Alpharetta
Zip Code: 30076
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: See below
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Price: I'm not sure what these are worth and I'm not trying to get rich off of them. If you're interested, make me a reasonable offer.
I'm also interested in trading for a Yaesu ftm400 (ham radio), ARB or Viair air compressor, Smittybilt winch, and of course weapons.
Item Description:
I have 2 leather flight jackets for sale. Both jackets have been stored in a mold free, smoke free, and pet free home hanging in the back of my closet since I received them. The first 3 pictures are the Willis & Geiger.
1st jacket is a US Navy G1 flight jacket made by Willis & Geiger and dates between WW2 and early Vietnam. It is made of Goat skin and has a mouton collar. It's in amazing condition for it's age. The leather is in perfect condition but the waistband has several holes in it and can be replaced if need be. It has been that way since I came into possession of it.
Size 42
The other jacket is a mystery. It is also leather but is missing the liner that probably had the manufacturer's information on it. The collar can be removed to resemble a classic A2 style jacket. It is also in great condition and has no damage to it.
Size 44
I've done my best to research the Willis & Geiger but cannot definitively say it was issued or used during WW2 or Vietnam. I've dated it by looking at when W&G had the government contract and the type of zipper pull used (scovill). I reccomend looking at it in person.
