Item Description: This is an excellent Remington model 81 and is chambered in the ultimate hard hitting 300/Savage, 5 round capacity in the non-removable magazine. The rifle has a 22” barrel.

All matching serial numbers and was manufactured and shipped 1949.

Bore is very good with sharp rifling. Approval markings are excellent. Previous owner in order to perfect the gripping, cut clean grooves in the forearm to checker it.

This model rifle was used to bring down Bonnie and Clyde. They never had a chance!

Used widely by police and FBI in that time period.

I have 4 boxes of 300 SAVAGE that I will sell for $30 per box.
