Item Description: I’d like to offer up our Old Town Saranac 15’4” square stern canoe.
The package includes:
The canoe, of course. Old Town Sportsman Saranac series. 15 feet, 4 inches long. 43 inches wide. Straight and true with no warping. Always stored inside. Excellent condition with no holes, leaks, etc. It’s rated for a 4hp outboard, but we may or may not have used a vintage 10hp Evinrude a few times with no issues as long as there’s sufficient weight in the front.
Minn Kota Endura 30 electric trolling motor. Works perfectly.
NEW Duralast marine deep cycle 840mca, 210ac, 29dp-dl battery. The battery is 9 months old and has been charged and used exactly 4 times.
NEW Duralast DL-2D 2 amp battery trickle charger. Again, used exactly 4 times.
Two Oars, less than a year old.
Two floatation cushions.
One 15 lb. anchor with a long line.
One professionally constructed canoe cart. Used twice….
Why are we selling it? We are old, and this thing is HEAVY. The canoe itself weighs 90lbs. We love fishing the Hooch, but it’s become quite a task to float this puppy. One of us (me) has arthritis. We just can’t do it anymore.
We have over $1300 in the thing. We’d like to get $650. It’s ready to use. The registration is good until 2023.
