This offering I carried to the range last Wednesday with no intention of keeping it and knowing it had never been fired. I had spent the previous days cleaning it up and admiring it and the more time I spent with it the more I began to like it. It is very much a custom built
Ruger New Model Super Black Hawk but it now has a 4 5/8” barrel that has been crowned, it has been Ported with a slot on each side of the barrel under the front site. The rear site has been switched to a different variation and is also fully adjustable for wind and elevation. The finish is unbelievable, it is an American Hunter model barrel with a beautiful dark deep blue finish so is the cylinder which has a narrow band of gold encircling it on the hammer end. The finish on the receiver is unbelievable being a mixture of gold and bluing mixed together. The grip frame and trigger frame have both been finished to brass with beautiful hardwood grip panels. It liked the gun a lot but once I laId my arms over the shooting bag and pulled the trigger was the final step, I was hooked on the beautiful piece of steel and brass! If you had spent the money on a gun such as this to make it look good makes since you would want it to perform just as well. This revolver has had a Trigger job put on it that will make you shiver with anticipation of taking aim and pulling the trigger again. You would certainly need to take every gun safety precaution shooting or handling the revolver loaded. You would not want your finger inside the trigger guard until pointed at your intended target and ready to fire. The porting job got its goal done, the sound and recoil were honestly comparable with that of a 4” barrel .38 Special.
Revolver#2- I hope you speculators realize the potential in this .38 Special Colt Cobra. It was built in 1972, the first year the Colt Cobra was built. It has immaculate original factory smooth probably walnut grip panels with nary a bruise or mar in there finish anywhere. Not a screw has been turned anywhere on the gun. It is an alloy frame as I think Cobras have always been with faded bluing on the barrel and cylinder. What makes this gun more Collectable is that from the factory it wears a shroud over hammer to keep it from hanging up on ones clothing. At a glance it is obvious that this gun has never been fired or carried very much in its 49 years.
Revolver#3-This Welby&Scott is of significant historical WW11 value. It is a 145/200 .38 Cal. Limited edition run revolver owned and carried throughout the war by James Angus Wilson, Wing Commander and Bombardier in both the Royal Australian Air Force and the RAF. The gun was given to his sister years ago and she had no one to leave it to and decided to let a broker sell it for her whom I bought it from. The gun has probably 85 % original bluing and some lite pitting in a few areas along the barrel. The grips are in excellent condition. It appears that the gun caliber is actually S&W .38 and it seems that everything is working order. Also included is a soft simple shoulder holster that he carried the gun in. Angus Wilson was significant enough in the RAF that you can Google him and find interesting information about him.

The Prices on the three revolvers picked up at the Golden City Armory in Tallapoosa, Ga. by cash purchase and no sales tax will be charged is: Revolver One, The Custom Ruger is: $1,400.00. RevolverTwo: Colt Cobra 1ST Generation is: $785.00 and the Wing Commander Wilson Webley&Scott Revolver and Holster is: $750.00.
